What could have been a dreary rainy day, was a beautiful day for Stephanie and Michal’s intimate ceremony at Grayes Greenhouse. Their day was filled with close family, friends, and lots of love.
The day was coordinated by Kayla at The Lost Forty. Kayla is a rockstar who I am always excited to work with. She creates florals, officiates ceremonies, and helps set the decor for your perfect day while coordinating vendors making sure everything is seamless and stress-free for you! Stephanie enjoyed a relaxing afternoon getting ready with her mom, sister, and best friend with Glam by Andreea. Once she stepped into her gorgeous wedding dress, she was ready to see her groom.
Michal and Stephanie had a first look together before the ceremony and you could tell they were both so excited for this moment, Michal especially. It was so adorable to see his eyes light up the second he saw Stephanie in the greenhouse. Surrounded by lush greenery, I documented their sweet interactions inside and outside, hoping the rain would hold out long enough. Thankfully, it did until we were back inside for the ceremony where the couple said “I do” to the sound of raindrops softly falling on the glass pane ceiling.
After the ceremony, they shared a romantic dance together beneath the hung string lights and I captured a few more moments in the greenhouse before heading off to dinner. They continued the celebration at Karl’s Cabin for a delicious dinner and cake cutting. When I asked them if it felt real to be married, they both enthusiastically said “yes!” So sweet!
While Stephanie and Michal have only known each other for a year, you can tell their connection and spark together is felt deeper. I would have guessed they’ve known each other for a decade, and that is the type of love that is so special to find. The couple is expecting a little girl in a few months so their celebration was extra special as they start their new life together as a family. I wish them all the happiness as they begin their new adventure and start their family together!
